Detective Sergeant Lachlan “Leccy” Carter has committed his wife to the grave in the sodden atmosphere of an Edinburgh winter.
Alone beside her coffin, he questions what had gone wrong with their love? They’d married under the neon sun of Las Vegas a year ago, a snap decision typical of Kelsa's impetuousness. They'd been dating only six months, were still in the throes of desert passion, and he'd been reluctant to pose the awkward questions to his new wife about her ex- boyfriends.
Now, in death, she's sent a psycho stalker to torment him with chilling text messages that threaten to put him in the grave beside her.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Edinburgh–Scotland author, originally from Ayrshire on the West Coast, I've been writing fiction for nine years and have been experimenting with alternative genres, including speculative and science fiction. A Wife Worth Dying For is British crime fiction – if you're outside the UK – but Scottish crime noir if you're living north of the English border. I'm planning a series for "Leccy" Carter – not sure yet how many stories I should write – so if you like Leccy's story let me know where you think the series should go – and what kind of person he might develop into.
Leccy has something unique up his sleeve. He's developed a quiz about his first investigation and he wants you to test yourself against the story. The quiz is now available exclusively at https://wilsonsmillie.com/quiz very soon, so keep checking in to see if it's live.
